Here at Hammer Creek Hardwoods we love to see how our products can take any project and make it truly unique. The natural beauty of our hardwoods really does speak for itself and so this blog is going to highlight just that. There won't be long paragraphs describing our day or what we're wearing (We know you can find that somewhere else if you really need to!). Instead, its going to be a place where we highlight projects that have been completed with lumber supplied by us and made by you! Who knows, maybe we'll also add the occasional update on new stock on its way to our inventory.

So to start the highlight reel, here is a project that was completed by us. This is a coffee table made from an English Walnut slab. As you can see we used a bow-tie connection to restrain the small crack in the one slab arm and used epoxy to fill in the rest. The bow-tie was made from one of our Maple hardwood boards. There are many techniques that can be used to keep a crack from spreading but we really liked how the bow-tie added a little extra detail to this slab coffee table.
